Said Hossein Barjesteh, Poker Player and Winner
Said Hossein Barjesteh was not only a poker player, he was also a businessman who took care of his family. What concerns his achievements in the poker game, he was quite successful. His first appearance on the serious poker stage is connected with year 1984, it was the time, when he participated in the America's Cup, where he landed on the second place in the $200 bui-in in Lowball. He walked away with a bit over $1,500.
The next step in his poker career was made in 1985, when he won the second place in the same tournament but in $500 Limit Hold'em. This time the winning was four times better. He continued his career until May 1989 just four months before his death.
He continued playing different games of poker. In 1986 he cashed in No Limit Hold'em but he won Grand Prix of Poker in $1,000 Razz that year. He won the largest amount of money in his entire career that day. Later he started Seven-Card Stud and Razz. Also he could not skip Omaha.'
